Thalys is a high speed train that links, at a speed of 300 kph, Northern European tourist and business capitals, Paris (France), Brussels (Belgium), Amsterdam (the Netherlands), Cologne (Germany) and about fifteen other major cities.

Thalys has direct connections with several European high-speed train networks which are the Eurostar from Brussels or Paris to London, the TGV from Paris to all over France and the ICE from Cologne to all over Germany.
