Ireland rail passes and train tickets

Small in size but big in personality, Ireland is one of the hottest destinations in the world right now for the intrepid backpacker. From hip, buzzy cities to remote, isolated islands, this is one country that can offer a phenomenal range of experiences.

We can now also book regular point to point rail tickets on many routes within the Republic of Ireland, and also cross border trains going into Northern Ireland.

Please note that we cannot start journeys in Northern Ireland, as there are no Irish Rail ticket collection machines at Northern Irish Stations.

Tickets and InterRail Pass Reservations can be issued as Tickets on Departure (with a code provided for retrieving tickets from an Iarnród Éireann ticket machine).
