India rail passes and train tickets

Please note: Due to a change within the India Rail reservation system, we are currently unable to book point to point journeys. If you would like to travel by train within India we would recommend booking any tickets locally.

We are working hard to re-establish our ability to book rail within India and will keep you informed as soon as we have any further news.

The subcontinent of India lies in south Asia, between Pakistan, China and Nepal. To the north it is bordered by the world's highest mountain chain, where foothill valleys cover the northernmost of the country's 26 states. Further south, plateaus, tropical rain forests and sandy deserts are bordered by palm fringed beaches.
