Urgent Travel Information between Berlin & Hamburg - 11th October 2011

We have been advised that due to an incident involving arson, cables along the mainline between Berlin and Hamburg have been damaged.

ICE and IC/EC services between Hamburg and Berlin are being diverted via Stendal. This will add approximately 40 minutes to the journey times.

RE 4 Jüterbog - Wittenberge - Wismar

• Trains operate to and from Falkensee and Nauen. A replacement bus service operates between Falkensee and Nauen.

RE 6 Berlin - Wittenberge

• Trains to and from Hennigsdorf are diverted and begin and terminate at Berlin Gesundbrunnen.

RB 10 Berlin Charlottenburg - Nauen

• A replacement bus service operates between Falkensee and Nauen

RB 14 Nauen - Senftenberg

• A replacement bus service operates between Falkensee and Nauen

It is not expected that the damage will be repaired before Wednesday, 12^th October. Delays and short notice cancellations along the affected lines may occur.
