Update on Thalys engineering works in Holland

As previously communicated, engineering works are taking place on various dates in September, October and November in Holland, affecting Thalys services as follows:

29th and 30th September:

All services will run between Paris and Amsterdam however trains from Paris to Amsterdam will arrive in Amsterdam 15 minutes behind schedule. There is no impact on customers as the trains went on sale after the timetable modification.

6th October:

A security exercise is due to take place on this day. Trains 9382, 9351, 9369 and 9381 will operate as normal. The other Thalys trains will operate on the non-high speed line adding roughly an hour to the overall journey time. Trains 9382, 9351, 9369 and 9381 are open for sales. The other trains are only open to sale between Brussels Midi and Paris.

13th, 14th, 15th, 20th and 21st October:

All services on the Paris-Amsterdam line will operate on the non-high speed line. Trains will leave Amsterdam 37 minutes later than originally scheduled and will also arrive with another 37 minute delay.

Trains will not call at Schiphol on these dates. Passengers with valid Thalys tickets can travel on local trains from either Amsterdam or Rotterdam to reach Schiphol.

17th and 18th November:

All services on the Paris-Amsterdam line will start/terminate in Rotterdam. Trains from Rotterdam to Paris will operate according to the normal timetable however trains from Paris to Rotterdam will arrive in Rotterdam 15 minutes behind schedule.
Passengers with Thalys tickets will have free access on domestic trains between Rotterdam and Amsterdam in both directions.
