SNCF Service Update - Thursday 9th December 2010

Due to the poor weather conditions in France today Thursday 9th December 2010, TGV trains are running at slower speeds as a consequence. There are some train cancellations between Paris and southeastern France, however, passengers can use their tickets to travel on any train operating on the same route for today Thursday 9th December 2010.

All tickets with reservation (Public, Group and RIT, and regardless of the after-sales conditions stated on the ticket) valid for travel between Paris and southeastern France on Thursday 9th December 2010 can be used on any other train, operating on the same route as the original ticket. Seats cannot be guaranteed during this time. Due to expected service disruptions, the timetable cannot be guaranteed. Tickets must still be validated in the yellow machines at the station, prior to boarding the train.

Refunds and Exchanges:
Customers due to travel between Paris and southeastern France on Thursday 9th December 2010 who wish to cancel their journey, can obtain a full refund before or after departure. For customers wishing to exchange their ticket for an ulterior date of travel, this must be processed as a full refund followed by a new sale.

All unused tickets for travel between Paris and southeastern France on Thursday 9th December 2010, need to be returned by Special or Recorded Delivery to our Customer Services Department for refund.
