Royal Mail Special Delivery times during the Olympic Games

We have been advised by Royal Mail that the Special Delivery™ Next Day service will continue to operate into and out of London during the Games period.

Whilst Royal Mail expects to be able to deliver items in some parts of London by 1pm, transport restrictions and extended travel times mean they cannot guarantee to do this for all items in all areas throughout the Games period. Given these circumstances, items due for delivery in London will be guaranteed for next day delivery rather than 1pm, during the period from 23rd July to 17th September.

The change only affects items due for delivery in London in the following postcode areas: E, EC, N, NW, SE, SW, W, WC, during the period from 23rd July until 17th September.

Items due for delivery in other parts of the UK will still be guaranteed for delivery by 1pm the next working day.
