NEW! Overnight Services - France to Italy

We have been advised that the overnight trains to/from Paris to Italy will be managed by a new company called TVT otherwise known as Thello.

There will be two overnight trains to choose from and the routes are as follows:

Thello train 220: Venice - Milan - Paris
Thello train 221: Paris - Milan - Venice

Intermediate stops will be at Padova, Vicenza, Verona, Brescia, Milan & Dijon stations.

Departure Information - Also new this year will be the departure/arrival station in Paris and all overnight trains will now run from Paris Gare de Lyon instead of Bercy.

Security Information - The Thello overnight trains will run through Switzerland and passengers will now need to show all necessary identification documents when needed. All tickets will now be personal and will be valid only with an ID card or passport.

Accommodation - Sleeping coaches will stay pretty much the same with single, double & T3 compartments, 4 & 6 berth couchettes will also still be available.

Booking - You can now book the Thello overnight train up to 4 months in advance of your departure date and will it be ticketless meaning we can send the ticket to you via email so you can print it off at home.

Services Onboard - There will also be restaurant services available on board offering dinner and breakfast with an additional sit down service. For the couchette coaches a mini bar will be available and also a breakfast for all passengers in the sleeper coaches.
