French Travel Alert - 21st June 2012

We have been advised by SNCF that Industrial action is affecting some rail services in France and beyond on 21st June and 22nd June 2012. Please note that services will be disrupted as follows:

Thursday 21st June

TGV 5299 Lille Europe 18h02 / Brive-la-Gaillarde 00h25 will terminate in Limoges Bénédictins at 23h19.

Elipsos services between Paris and Barcelona are CANCELLED tonight.

Train 477 Paris => Barcelona:
There will be 3 replacement buses scheduled to depart at the same time as the train would have done: 2 direct buses to Barcelona, and 1 going to Barcelona via Figueres. The bus will not stop at Aubrais-Orléans or Limoges.

Train 475 Barcelona => Paris:
There will be 2 replacement buses scheduled to depart at the same time as the train would have done: 1 direct bus to Paris, and the other going to Paris via Figueres. The bus will not stop at Aubrais-Orléans or Limoges.

AUTOTRAIN

The AutoTrain service from Brive to Paris is cancelled tonight (21st June).

AFTER-SALES

Passengers who opt not to travel can have a full refund, regardless of the after-sales conditions mentioned on the ticket.

Exchanges must be processed as a full refund followed by a new sale. If there is a difference in price between the original and the new tickets, the customer will need to pay the price difference.

Passengers with a return ticket, who have already used their outbound leg of the journey, can have a refund on the return leg of the journey if they decide not to travel.

Groups are advised not to travel.

REFUNDS

In order to process any refunds, tickets must be received by Rail Europe within 28 days of the date of travel. Tickets should be sent to the following address.
