Eurostar Services Delay - Monday 10th October 2011

Eurostar Services Delay - Monday 10th October 2011

We have been advised that due to on-going infrastructure problems within Eurotunnel, Eurostar services have been subject to delays and disruption this morning.

These problems were realised at very short notice following overnight engineering works within the Tunnel.

Whilst we expect Eurostar trains to be allowed to operate normally again within the Tunnel later this morning, the delays to current services may reach up to 3.5 hours.
As a result Eurostar have decided to cancel the following trains: 9012, 9023, 9126 & 9139.

Sales have now been closed on all Eurostar trains up to and including the 12h57 London to Brussels (train 9132) and the 13h04 Paris to London (train 9031).

Customers with onwards connections should get their tickets endorsed by the train manager indicating the delay of the service and then ask the ticket office at the onwards connecting train station to be re-accommodated on the next available train.

Customers who choose to postpone their journeys today, can exchange their ticket within 60 days through the original point of sale.
