Eurostar Update Service - 21st November 2010

Eurostar Update Service - 21st November 2010

Due to the continuing bad weather, speed restrictions are in place on our high speed lines, adding up to two hours to journey times. As a result Eurostar cannot operate as many trains as planned, with trains departing as and when they become available from their inbound journey rather than running to their normal timetable. This, together with high demand, has caused some long queues at Eurostar stations.

Eurostar's recommendation is that if you do not need to travel before Christmas, you postpone or cancel your journey and they are offering a free refund or exchange.

If you do need to travel before Christmas, please go to the Eurostar station one hour before your train is due to depart and you will be given a seat on the next available train. Given very high demand, please note this may mean waiting for more than 3 hours at the station.

Eurostar apologise for the inconvenience this will cause.
