Engineering works in northern France 1st March to 21st May

These will be taking place in northern France on certain dates between 1st March and 21st May 2011.

This will affect some Eurostar, SNCF and Thalys services as follows:

Eurostar

Please be advised that ONLY Eurostar services from Paris to London will be affected on the following dates:

21st - 26th March 2011
28th - 31st March 2011
4th - 7th April 2011

During these dates, most Paris to London services will be departing between 3 and 12 minutes EARLIER than originally scheduled. However, train 9015 will depart 20 minutes LATER than originally scheduled, on Saturday 26th March ONLY.

All other Eurostar routes and services, including London to Paris, will be unaffected.

SNCF

SNCF services will be affected between the following dates:

21st - 26th March 2011
28th - 30th March 2011
4th - 7th April 2011

The following TGV services have been CANCELLED Mondays to Fridays from 21st March to 7th April:

TGV 7015 Paris Nord to Lille Flandres
TGV 7145 Paris Nord to Valenciennes
TGV 7036 Lille Flandres to Paris Nord
TGV 7342 Hazebrouck to Paris Nord

TGV 7079 Lille Flandres to Paris Nord is CANCELLED on Friday 25th March and Friday 1st April ONLY.

The following TGV services have been CANCELLED Mondays to Fridays only from 25th April to 13th May:

TGV 7022 Lille Flandres to Paris Nord
TGV 7061 Paris Nord to Lille Flandres
TGV 7144 Valenciennes to Paris Nord
TGV 7074 Lille Flandres to Paris Nord

Passengers due to travel on one of these cancelled services (only) during these dates will be able to use their ticket on an alternative service. Alternatively, passengers can get a full refund, regardless of the after-sales conditions stated on the ticket.

In addition, there will also be engineering works between Hazebrouck and Dunkirk from 1st to 31st March 2011. This will result in some Paris Nord to Hazebrouck services experiencing delays of 8 to 26 minutes arriving into Hazebrouck. A small number of services from Dunkirk to Paris Nord will have a replacement bus service from Dunkirk to Hazebrouck. Normal ticket terms and conditions apply to tickets valid for travel on any of these services.

Thalys

Thalys trains 9405 (06:01 departure from Paris Nord to Cologne) and 9309 (07:01 departure from Paris Nord to Brussels) are the only two of Thalys services affected by the engineering works. Between 8th March 2011 and 21st May 2011 the services will be modified as follows:

Train 9405 (06:01 departure from Paris Nord to Cologne):

Sunday and Monday departures - No change
Tuesday through to Saturday departures - Service is CANCELLED and customers will be reallocated as follows:
Tuesday to Friday - Passengers will be transferred on to the 9307 resulting in a 24 minute delay
Saturday - Passengers will be transferred on to the 9409 resulting in a 1 hour delay.

Train 9309 (07:01 departure from Paris Nord to Brussels):
Monday departures - No change

Tuesday to Saturday departures - Passengers will be transferred on to the 9409, which will continue through to Cologne, rather than terminating in Brussels. Passengers with valid tickets to travel on the 9309 will sit in the same seat as allocated on their original ticket.
