Disruption due to bad weather - 12th March 2013

Adverse weather conditions are affecting rail services on the Continent, please see below for specific details:

EUROSTAR

Due to the snowy conditions in northern France today, a speed restriction of 230 km/h has been introduced on a short section of the high speed line south of Lille. Eurostar expect this to add between 10 to 30 minutes to overall Eurostar journey times and will advise customers online and in stations accordingly.

Please only travel if your journey is essential.

THALYS

Due to expected bad weather on 12th March, all passengers due to travel with a Thalys ticket on 12th March can use their ticket to travel on any other Thalys (serving the same route) on 12th March. If passengers wish to postpone their travel, they can exchange their ticket in a station locally, for travel up to and including 26th March, regardless of the conditions stated on their ticket.
