We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed as the key UK travel trade distributor for new Italian high speed operator Italo.

Italo is now operating on the Italian high speed rail network from Milan to Naples. By the end of 2012, there will be 50 services a day covering 9 Italian cities.

Travelling on board this state-of-the-art train service, customers can choose to travel in one of three on-board ambiences:

Smart providing comfort, maximum convenience, free Wi-Fi and a cinema coach
Prima offering great comfort, on-board service, free Wi-Fi and a quiet coach option
Club delivering maximum comfort, free Wi-Fi, at-seat TV and a private office option

Key dates

April 2012: Initial launch of Milan - Naples route
September 2012: Launch of non-stop Milan - Rome service and extension of route to Salerno
October 2012: Launch of Venice route
January 2013: Launch of Turin route
