Belgian Rail Strike - Thursday 27th June 2013

A strike notice has been announced by the rail infrastructure personnel of the Belgian railways for this Thursday, 27th June.

There are risks of disruptions on the whole network because of track occupation by the strikers.

These actions are foreseen between 10 am and noon.

Impact on the circulation of the Thalys trains:

• Train 9406 (Walloon route) : The train will not stop at the stations Namur, Charleroi and Mons.

Passengers with a valid Thalys ticket can take a domestic train to Brussels and benefit from an easy access to the Thalys trains to Paris.

• The route to Cologne might also be disrupted between 10 am and noon because the trains might be blocked between Liège and Brussels.

An easy access for the whole day is allowed for all impacted passengers.
