Amtrak Extends Pacific Surfliner Service Suspension Between San Diego and San Juan Capistrano

The temporary suspension of Amtrak Pacific Surfliner service between San Juan Capistrano and San Diego is being extended to all day Thursday, December 23 due to the continuing impact of mud slides and high-water conditions. No alternate transportation is available.

Pacific Surfliners continue to operate between San Luis Obispo and San Juan Capistrano, via Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.

Amtrak will issue additional Service Alerts with updated information regarding service restoration.
