Additional info: works between Switzerland and Italy in August - September

Due to engineering works taking place near Domodossola from 13th August 2012 until 2nd September 2012, the following trains are affected:

Eurocity Milan to and from Basel (Trains 50, 52, 56, 51, 57, 59)
Eurocity Venice / Milanto and from Geneva (Trains 32, 34, 36, 42, 35, 37, 39, 41)

Journeys from Milan to Lausanne / Geneva:

EuroCity train from Milan to Domodossola
Bus from Domodossola to Iselle
Iselle to final destination by train

The same applies for journeys from Switzerland to Italy.

Journeys from Milan to Bern / Basel:

EuroCity train from Milan to Domodossola
Bus from Domodossola to Iselle
Iselle to Bern by train
Bern to Olten/Basel by train

Trains will operate at the normal times however a delay of 40 minutes is expected upon arrival due to the bus journey.

Please also note that EuroCity 42 and 37 will start/terminate in Milan (instead of Venice). Passengers with tickets valid to travel on these services will be able to travel between Milan and Venice on a domestic Italian train.
