The Glacier Express in Switzerland is a unique experience in itself, crossing the magnificent Alps and offering you some of the most spectacular views that the country has to offer.

Regarded as one of the most stunning train journeys in the world, it's a seven and a half hour train journey of spectacular views starting off in St Moritz and stopping on the way at Davos Platz, Chur & Brig and ending up in Zermatt. It's an adventure that crosses 291 bridges and goes through 91 tunnels all in the comfort of clean, modern and air-conditioned cars.

Seating onboard the Glacier Express are bays of 4 seats around a table which if you are travelling alone is a good chance to meet fellow travellers and make new friends. All you need to do is sit back, relax and take in the spectacular views en route such as dense forests, snow capped mountains and century old villages.

You have the choice of having lunch in the dining car or served to you directly at your seat, enjoying the local delicacies served by the friendly and experienced staff. If you are on a budget then you can also take onboard your own food and enjoy an uninterrupted journey making sure you don't miss any of the beautiful views on the way.
