Fares

There are a range of fares available for the TGV and tickets can be booked for most up to 3 months in advance of your travel date. However there are two periods during which tickets are available 2 months in advance:

Travel from mid December to mid January - tickets on sale from mid October

Travel from early February to early April - tickets on sale from early November

Prem's - If you are booking in advance and your travel dates are unlikely to change, then the Prem's fare can offer you the lowest price. With the Prem's fare you are guaranteed the lowest prices and they are available to purchase between 90 and 14 days before the date of your travel. Because these are the lowest priced tickets they are non exchangeable and non refundable once booked. The Prem's fare is available in both 1st and 2nd class.

Loisir - If you are looking for a bit more flexibility with the option of limited exchange or refund then the Loisir fares would be the best for you. The Loisir fare can be booked 90 days in advance of your travel dates and offer partial exchanges and refunds before your travel dates. Please note that exchanging or refunding will incur charges so please contact us for more information.

Pro - For maximum flexibility the Pro fare would be the best option. The Pro fares are available within 1st and 2nd class and your journey can be either one way or return. There are no advance booking conditions and these tickets are fully exchangeable and refundable up to your departure. After departure they are 50% exchangeable or refundable. Please note that exchanging or refunding will incur charges so please contact us for more information.

Tickets can be in the form of either a paper or an e-ticket. Please note that if you order a paper ticket you will pay additional postage charges.
